TMSC

Thomas Miller Specialty Construction (TMSC) was established in 2021 and offers a market leading latent defect insurance product. It has been specifically designed to meet the needs of commerial developers delivering new build mixed use schemes in the UK, with extended benefits for the purchasers of individual units.

The product is underwritten by Aviva insurance through the existing teams, utilising the knowledge and experience built up within the Thomas Miller Group. We also have an “in house” risk solutions subsidiary - providing technical audits and Complementary consultancy services.

The TMSC product is available to developers only, for schemes with a contract value exceeding £10m and is exclusively distributed through our broker network.

Consumer Code

To support the product further TMSC holds the status as Code User of the Consumer Code for New Homes. Consumer codes are industry led and independently managed, setting minimum standards of consumer and developer conduct during the sales and reservation period, handover, completion and after sales service for a period of 2 years from the completion of the sale. The Code applies to all developers with units for private sale / transfer to consumers and is increasingly forming part of the conveyancing checks and reports to purchasers. The CCNH is able to offer training and advise.
